Enviro Control has recently inaugurated the 160 MLD Drinking Water Treatment Plant at Rander, Surat, completing a transformation from a 50 MLD conventional facility to a 160 MLD ceramic ultrafiltration system within the same site and without disrupting supply.
The plant features the world’s largest municipal ceramic UF installation, provision for long chain PFAS safeguards, and SCADA enabled automation for reliable operations. Treated water turbidity is maintained at or below 0.5 NTU, and the compact upgrade conserves approximately 13,750 square meters of land.
The project was formally inaugurated on 8th March 2026, underscoring the state’s commitment to future ready drinking water. This milestone reinforces Enviro Control’s leadership in high performance brownfield upgrades for India’s urban water sector.
