Enviro Control is pleased to announce the recent inauguration of the 250 MLD Water Treatment Plant with full Zero Liquid Discharge at Variav in Surat. The treatment facility was inaugurated on 8th March 2026. It recycles all backwash and sludge filtrate streams and internally recovers an additional 10 MLD, thereby achieving zero wastewater discharge.

The process train integrates cascade aeration, flocculation with lamella clarification, rapid gravity filtration, and efficient disinfection, producing finished water at approximately 1 NTU even when raw water turbidity ranges from 5 NTU to 4,250 NTU. The compact clarifier configuration reduces footprint while improving resource efficiency and environmental outcomes.

This inauguration highlights Enviro Control’s capability to deliver city scale ZLD for drinking water and sets a replicable benchmark for circular water management across India.
